The Swiss Kubik Solar carries a solar panel fitted on top of the case: ambient light is enough to power it. No battery to replace, no cable. Placed near a window or in a lit room, it runs in complete autonomy — the most accomplished piece in the range on this point.

The body is black aluminium. A piece that states its origin directly: hand-made at the Givisiez manufacture in Switzerland, to Swiss Made standards.

Swiss Kubik is one of the few manufactures officially approved by Rolex — and one that has built bespoke winders for certain models in the range. The Solar carries the same motor as the rest of the Masterbox range.

Silent, antimagnetic — pause phases

Silent motor, measured magnetic neutrality: 0.07 mT — 85 times below the ISO 764 standard. Between each cycle, a pause phase and a vertical stop at 12 o'clock — the mainspring relaxes properly.
