The Startbox Swiss flag red keeps things simple. No app, no settings: switch it on and it runs its 1,600 turns per day without intervention. Its soft-touch ABS finish is red with the white Swiss cross, a direct nod to Swiss Made, matte and smooth to the touch. This is the ideal automatic watch winder for a first Rolex, an Omega, or any automatic watch worn in rotation.

Hand-made in Switzerland — silent and antimagnetic motor

The Startbox meets Swiss Made standards: hand-crafted at the Givisiez manufacture in Switzerland. Its motor is silent — placed in a bedroom or an office, you will not hear it. And it never disturbs your watch movement: Swiss Kubik measures 0.07 mT — 85 times below the ISO 764 standard. Your timepiece keeps its accuracy, Rolex included.

Pause phases and vertical stop position

The Startbox alternates rotations with pause phases. During each pause the mainspring relaxes naturally — spring tension stays intermediate, with no over-winding. At every stop the winder settles vertically at 12 o'clock, the optimal position to preserve balance-wheel regulation over the long term.

Cordless, battery-powered — safe-friendly

The Startbox runs on batteries only, with no cable. Two type C (LR14) batteries give 2 to 3 years of autonomy. We recommend Procell Duracell and advise against rechargeable batteries, whose variable voltage disturbs the motor. Put your automatic watch winder wherever you like, including inside a safe.

The Startbox is the right choice if you want a winder that is ready to use with no settings.
