Navy, on milled leather

On a full-grain hide, a deep blue is harder to achieve than a brown: the natural material pulls towards tan. This one holds, and the milled grain stays visible beneath the colour. In use it darkens slightly at the folds, which draws the object rather than wearing it out.

The lining and the cord

The inside is cotton-lined, flap included, so nothing rubs against the crystals. The closure is a technical sailing cord tied in a square knot, tightening on whatever the pouch actually holds.
