A square knot, not a buckle

The pouch closes with a technical cord tied in a square knot — the sailor's knot, the one that holds under tension and releases in a single pull. This is not decoration: Agnès and Xavier Broise, who founded Avel & Men, come from sailing and from Finistère. Avel ha Men, in Breton, means the wind and the rock.

In practice the knot adapts to what is inside. Six slim watches or three thick chronographs: the pouch tightens on its contents, with no slack.

Made in Brittany

The collection is produced in Brittany. We say so plainly: in this segment most pouches sold online have neither an identifiable workshop nor after-sales support. Here the maker is reachable and we distribute directly.

The leather is a full-grain milled hide: the grain stays natural, the material softens with use and deepens into a richer chocolate.
