Fifty-two millimetres
That is the measurement that matters here. Fifty-two millimetres of diameter per slot, crown and pushers included. In other words: no mainstream watch is going to jam, wide chronographs and thick-bezel divers included.
Both watches lie flat, side by side. Nothing stacks, no strap carries the weight of the other watch.
The sliding case
The case is two parts that slide into one another, with no hinge and no clasp. There is nothing to break, and nothing that springs open in a bag. The natural chocolate brown leather takes a patina; the white stitching stays sharp.
The interior is black velvet. A small-diameter watch stays put: velvet holds, it does not let things slide.
