The inner cushion is wide. A diver on a steel bracelet, a large-cased chronograph, an oversize watch — all sit without strain. The interior is black, so is the outer leather, with contrast white stitching that draws the object.

What it actually protects

The shell is rigid. That is what separates a case from a soft pouch: in a suitcase, under a pile of clothes, the box does not crush and the crystal takes nothing. The leather marks over time, as all natural leather does — that is the only upkeep to expect.
