The black and grey stripe carries a 20mm reputation, because that is the Submariner width. It is a misconception. If your watch has 22mm lugs, nothing is closed to you.

22mm means the Seiko Arnie, the Sinn U1, the Sinn U2, the Sinn 857, the Tudor Black Bay 41. Watches with character, cases that own the wrist. A nylon strap suits them particularly well: it lightens what a steel bracelet weighs down.
