The one 24mm leather you wear without thinking about it
Hiking, sailing, site work, anything outdoors: these are the uses that finish off an ordinary leather strap in a season. The black rubber lining, which cannot rot, takes the moisture in place of the leather. It is stitched right round as well as bonded: at 24mm the contact area is large, and the stitch holds it along the full perimeter. That is what makes the Explorer wearable where other leathers ask for care.
Brown is the colour that patinas best
The calf is tanned in Italy. On brown, the leather will take on a light patina over time. After a season the strap says something a new one cannot.
