Bergeon 7744 tool to adjust a metal watch bracelet

A case for extracting metal bracelet pins: two plastic supports and an assortment of six extraction pins, on a Bergeon support. Swiss manufacture.

Removing a link from a watch bracelet

It is the most common operation when a new watch arrives, and the one that leaves the most marks when it is improvised. The support holds the bracelet, the pin pushes along the axis.

Six extraction pins for six link diameters

Pin diameters vary from one brand to another. A pusher too thin bends in the link, one too thick will not enter. The assortment covers the usual cases.

Two supports to hold the watch link

The support keeps the bracelet aligned during the push. It is what prevents a marked link and a pin driven out crooked.

Bergeon watchmaker tools made in Switzerland

These tools are used by watchmaking professionals and made entirely in Switzerland. La Boîte à Montres is an official Bergeon retailer.

Screwed links rather than pins

Some metal bracelets, modern Rolex among them, are adjusted with screws rather than pins. In that case the Bergeon 1.6 mm watchmaker screwdriver is the tool.
