Polywatch removes scratches from plastic and plexiglass watch crystals. Ideal for synthetic crystals — vintage Omega Speedmaster, Rolex, Swatch, Omega x Swatch — or any other plastic object. Sachet containing one mini tube.
Polywatch removes scratches from plastic and plexiglass watch crystals. This is the crystal found on vintage Rolex, on Swatch, on period Omega Speedmasters and on the Omega x Swatch. The micro-abrasive paste works the surface and returns its clarity.
Put a small amount of Polywatch on a cotton pad. Rub firmly, in circles, for a few minutes. Wipe off with a soft cloth. No tool, no dismantling: the crystal stays on the watch.
The sachet contains one mini tube, reference 211147.
This formula is for plastic, acrylic and plexiglass. For a sapphire or mineral crystal you need Polywatch for sapphire and mineral glass: the two are not interchangeable.
A simple test: acrylic scratches under a fingernail and is often slightly domed; sapphire resists scratching but marks on impact.
Synthetic spectacle lenses are treated the same way. Dust and scratches are the two enemies of these everyday objects.
A microfibre cloth and a pair of watchmaker gloves keep you from leaving marks on a case you have just cleaned — all of it sits in watch cleaning kits and loupes. A 10x loupe lets you judge the result before putting the watch back on.
