Bergeon 30080H, made in Switzerland — individual watchmaker screwdriver with a spare blade case, 1.6 mm. Ideal for changing Panerai straps and for adjusting and removing links on modern Rolex bracelets. The essential size for routine watchmaking. Not suitable for removing a classic strap on spring bars: use the Bergeon 6767F tool for that.
The 30080H in 1.6 mm is the blade width most used in routine watchmaking. An individual screwdriver, supplied with its case of spare blades. Swiss manufacture.
Changing Panerai straps, whose bars are screwed rather than sprung — Arezzo 24mm leather straps cover that width. And removing links on modern Rolex bracelets, screwed as well: this is the ideal size for adjusting the length of a steel bracelet.
This screwdriver does not remove a classic strap mounted on spring bars. That calls for a fine-fork tool: the Bergeon 6767F spring bar tool. Using a flat blade on a spring bar exposes the lug to an irreversible mark.
A watchmaker screwdriver blade is a wearing part: it loses its bite and no longer meets the slot with the same precision. The spare case lets you renew it without interrupting a job.
If you work regularly, a stand covers every width rather than one: the Bergeon 5970 stand of nine screwdrivers brings together sizes from 0.50 to 2.50 mm with their spare blades. The rest of the range is in watchmaker tool kits.
