JAXA wrench to open a screw-down watch back

The Beco JAXA wrench safely opens every type of waterproof screw-down case back. It adjusts to the case: the torque goes into the notches of the back, not across its face.

Twelve case-opener tips, four profiles

Four types of tip are supplied, twelve in all: three pins, three bevels, three polygons, three angled. Enough to match the actual shape of the notches rather than force an approximate profile.

A screw-down watch back is not forced

The product photograph shows a vintage Omega Speedmaster back being opened. With the right tip profile and the right spacing, the back unscrews without a mark. An approximate profile slips out of the notch and leaves a permanent trace on the steel.

Screw-down, fluted or clipped watch back

Three families, three tools. The JAXA works on notched backs. Fine-fluted waterproof cases call for the dedicated Bergeon wrench. A clipped back opens with the case knife supplied in the Beco Medium kit.
