Clearing dust without touching the movement

A brush leaves fibres, a cloth touches the piece. A puff of air leaves nothing behind and approaches no surface: it is the only clean method on an open movement.

The rigid nozzle of the blower directs the air

It lets you aim at a gap, the angle of a bridge or the gasket groove, rather than sending a wide puff that moves the dust instead of clearing it.

The right move just before closing a watch case

A speck caught between crystal and dial is visible for life. A pass of the blower over the back, the gasket and the crystal before the back goes home settles it in three seconds.
