The quiet version of the drawer box

Same construction as its red twin, but with a matt light grey drawer instead of the bright lacquer. The contrast with the satin black exterior is still clear when it opens, without a colour statement.

It is the default choice when the box lives in an office or an already busy room: grey argues with nothing.

Why a drawer changes things

A hinged lid demands free height above the box. Many collections end up in a closed cabinet, on a low shelf or in a safe — three places where that height does not exist. A sliding drawer removes the constraint.

The upright format, 26 cm tall, also reduces the footprint compared with a flat six-watch box.
