A smartwatch leaves the factory with black or white silicone. Functional, and nothing more. Orange, on a black PVD case, finally gives it character — and pulls it out of the electronics register.

Two pieces on spring bars, like a leather strap

This is not a single-piece NATO strap. It has the look — stripes, keepers, buckle — but it is built in two lengths fixed on the spring bars, exactly like a leather strap. That is what lets it sit on a smartwatch: it does not need to pass under the case. And the spring bars are Quick Release — push the lever with a fingernail and the strap comes away. No tools.

Zulu or NATO: the difference

The two are often confused. The NATO is thin, its hardware flat. The Zulu is thicker, its keepers rounded and substantial. On a smartwatch — an object of glass and aluminium — the Zulu brings a material the original silicone does not have.

High-density woven nylon. Buckle and keepers finished in black PVD: no reflection, no break against a dark case. Machine washable at 30°, air dry.

Which smartwatches?

Any smartwatch with classic lugs and spring bars, in a 20mm lug width. Measure the gap between your lugs: that is the only criterion. If your watch has a proprietary fitting — slide, lug pin, clip — this strap will not mount on it.

This strap does not fit an Apple Watch

To be precise. The Apple Watch has a proprietary fitting: no spring bar strap attaches without an adapter. We make a dedicated version, with the Apple Watch adapters supplied. That is a different product.
