Grey, to avoid weighing it down

A large case plus a black strap can quickly feel heavy. Grey lightens the read without taking anything from the watch. On brushed steel, it makes the transition rather than the break.

Fitting on a dive watch

Nothing is glued, nothing is stitched end to end: the nylon forms a continuous band, per the G10 specification. It slips under the case and settles on both spring bars. The hardware — tongue, keepers — is marine stainless steel that salt does not attack. Machine clean, 30°.

A strap that goes in the water

Nylon fears neither the sea, nor the pool, nor sweat. Where leather buckles and rubber ages, a nylon strap dries and carries on. The marine stainless keepers do not pit in salt. This is the strap for July.
