A brown, matt khaki, no pinstripe and no contrast: the version closest to the original G10 specification. At 22mm, on a 42mm field watch, there is nothing to add.

The nylon here forms a single band with no join — that is the very principle of the G10. It runs under the case, bears on both spring bars and loops back to the buckle. Tongue and keepers are cut from marine stainless steel that shrugs off corrosion. 30° machine wash accepted.

Why the NATO strap has lasted sixty years

Born of a military specification, it should have stayed in the barracks. It left because it solves a problem nobody else had solved: secure the watch, change without tools, survive water, and cost less than a steel bracelet. None of those points has aged.
