The belt that matches the strap

The pack brings together two pieces in the same weave: the black and grey 20mm NATO strap, and the belt that carries exactly the same stripe. It is a pairing nobody notices and everybody sees — the definition of a detail done right.

The black and grey stripe, in two places

This stripe was born in 1964 on the wrist of a Submariner, in a film. It went on to become the most recognised pattern in the history of watch straps. Wearing it at the wrist and at the waist turns it into a stance rather than a wink.

What the pack contains

A 20mm single-piece nylon NATO strap to G10 specification, with a marine-grade anti-corrosion stainless steel buckle and keepers. And a woven nylon belt in the same pattern, stainless buckle. Both are machine washable at 30°.

The strap passes under the case and bears on both spring bars: if one fails, the other holds the watch. No tools to fit it. 20mm lug width — Tissot PRX Powermatic 80, Seiko Alpinist SPB121, Seiko Prospex SPB155, Citizen Promaster Fujitsubo, Oris Divers Sixty-Five 40.

A gift idea that actually works
