Navy on a dress watch

This is the colourway that makes a NATO strap acceptable under a shirt cuff. On a slim 36mm watch, navy does not read military: it reads city strap, in nylon.

This NATO watch strap is cut from a single piece of woven nylon, to the British G10 specification. It passes under the case, bears on both spring bars, then loops back to the buckle. Marine-grade anti-corrosion stainless steel buckle and keepers. Machine wash at 30° and air dry.

Concerns among others Seiko SNK809, Seiko SNXS79, Omega Speedmaster Reduced, Omega Seamaster vintage 34. Measure first. Then no tools: the strap passes under the case, the spring bars stay put.

High-density nylon

It all comes down to the weave. Tight nylon keeps its shape, does not fray and does not sag after one summer. It is invisible in a photograph and obvious after six months — which is precisely what separates our range from webbing sold by weight.
