The 24mm rubber watch strap concerns one family of watches only: imposing Panerai-type cases and military pieces with wide lugs. It is a rare width on the shelf, and that is precisely where the choice narrows when you want something other than a synthetic band.

Why rubber on a heavy watch

The heavier the watch, the harder the strap works. Hirsch premium rubber returns to shape, does not stretch and does not mark at the keeper. Waterproof, certified 100 m water-resistant, it takes seawater and perspiration without the material changing.
