Brown lets the buffalo grain show
On a black buffalo the grain is guessed at; on a brown it is read. The lighter tone brings out the natural irregularities of the hide, which become the subject of the strap. It is the colourway to choose if the material is what interests you.
Raw buffalo, vegetable-tanned
The buffalo hide is left raw, with no surface correction. Bark-tanned and unpigmented, it patinas with wear and gains depth. Flat, robust 4 mm structure, hypoallergenic cowhide lining.
