Matt microperforated calf, red stitching

The calf is left matt, with no glossy finish, which brings out the perforations through shadow rather than reflection. Red stitching runs along both edges and gives the piece its only colour. Our workshop shots present it on an Omega Speedmaster, by way of illustration: the stitching picks up the red of the chronograph hand.

A rubberised lining for sporting wear

The rubberised leather lining resists perspiration and takes splashes. That is what allows a leather to be worn on a diver without stiffening after a few months. Light 3 mm padding, tapering to 2.5 mm at the buckle.
