The 22mm black perforated strap with white stitching stays legible
White stitching on black leather is the sharpest contrast available without introducing colour. It draws the outline of the strap and underlines the microperforation, while remaining wearable with a dress watch. This is the most broadly worn Monaco. It is shown on an Omega Speedmaster, by way of illustration.
Matt calf, microperforated along its full length
Fine, regular perforations worked into a vegetable-tanned calf left matt. Rubberised leather lining that resists perspiration. Light 3 mm padding at the lugs, tapering to 2.5 mm at the buckle. Cut edge.
