Watchmaker screwdriver blades in alloy steel

The blades are in nickel-chrome-molybdenum alloy steel (SAE 8660) and vanadium, and they are replaceable. Every size has its own spare blade case, supplied with the stand.

The ten screwdriver diameters and their colours

0.5 orange · 0.6 white · 0.8 yellow · 1.0 black · 1.2 red · 1.4 grey · 1.6 violet · 2.0 green · 2.5 blue · 3.0 brown. Four spare blades on the first six diameters, three on the next three, two on the 3.0 mm.

Swivel head: the grip of a watchmaker screwdriver

It lets the index finger hold constant pressure while the fingers turn the handle. On a link screw, that is what preserves the screw head.

Ten watch screwdriver sizes rather than one

1.6 mm covers the common strap screws, but a movement calls for others. A full stand dispenses with the substitute tool, which bites into the screw head instead of driving it.
