Founded in 1898 in London, Rapport is a family house now in its fourth generation. The EVO MK3 is its best-selling model worldwide. Designed in Paddington, hand-assembled in Dublin, in brilliant black piano-lacquered wood. An automatic watch winder that takes every automatic watch on the market, as shown here in our photos and video with a Rolex GMT, a Rolex Air King and an Omega Speedmaster.
| Programme | Turns per day | Direction |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | Stop | — |
| 1 | 700 | Clockwise |
| 2 | 700 | Counter-clockwise |
| 3 | 700 | Both directions |
| 4 | 900 | Clockwise |
| 5 | 900 | Counter-clockwise |
| 6 | 900 | Both directions — recommended for Rolex and Omega |
| 7 | 1800 | Clockwise |
| 8 | 1800 | Counter-clockwise |
| 9 | 1800 | Both directions |
Programme 6 (900 turns per day, both directions) is the one we recommend for a Rolex or an Omega. If you are unsure about your watch, both directions remains the safe choice.
The MK3 motor is silent: set on a bedside table, it will not make itself heard. It is antimagnetic and does not disturb your watch movement. Between each cycle the winder observes a pause phase and settles in the vertical position — the mainspring relaxes and spring tension stays intermediate.
The MK3 assembles into modules on a shared power supply: the set of 2 MK3 winders in black, the set of 4 MK3 winders in black or the set of 4 MK3 winders in mixed colours. Looking for another shade? MK3 blue, MK3 Racing Green, MK3 silver.
For a Swiss Made entry-level winder on a fixed programme, the Swiss Kubik Startbox black needs no settings at all. If you want Bluetooth programming and Rolex approval, the Masterbox aluminium black is the step up, and the Masterbox black leather the most luxurious version. The Rotor One Scatola del Tempo black leather, driven by a Swiss Kubik motor and clad in hand-made Italian leather, plays the Italian design card with its bezel inspired by the Rolex GMT and Submariner.
