Issued khaki, plus two pinstripes — red and yellow. These are regimental colours, not decoration. On a field watch it stays coherent; elsewhere it takes nerve.

Fitting on a dive watch

Nothing is glued, nothing is stitched end to end: the nylon forms a continuous band, per the G10 specification. It slips under the case and settles on both spring bars. The hardware — tongue, keepers — is marine stainless steel that salt does not attack. Machine clean, 30°.

It fits every wrist

From 16 to 24 cm of wrist circumference, the length is there — including over a wetsuit. That was a requirement of the original specification, and it still earns its keep: a strap that fits everyone does not come back.

22mm compatibility

Sinn U1, Sinn U2, Sinn 857, Tudor Black Bay 41, Tudor Black Bay GMT. A NATO strap passes under the case: it can be narrower than the lug width, never wider.
