Blue, white and red in fine stripes

The tricolour has one flaw: in wide bands it turns into a flag. In fine stripes it becomes a pattern again. You read all three colours without the watch looking like a parade.

The strap is monobloc: the nylon runs end to end with no join and no assembly. It travels beneath the caseback, bears on each of the two spring bars, then closes on itself. Tongue and keepers are marine stainless steel, treated against salt corrosion. 30° machine wash if needed.

Fits 20mm lug width

IWC Mark XVIII, Doxa Sub 300, Marathon GSAR, Marathon TSAR, Oris Divers Sixty-Five 40. 20mm is the most common lug width on the market: measure the gap between your lugs to confirm.

One single piece, and that is the whole principle

A conventional strap attaches in two parts either side of the case. Not the NATO: the band is continuous and the watch simply rests on it. It cannot fall, even with the spring bars open. That detail is what earned the NATO strap its military career.
