The Lucca belongs to the Hirsch Artisan Leather collection. Its Tuscan leather is pit-tanned the traditional way, then drum-dyed: two slow stages that give the colour its depth.

Contrast stitching

The topstitch is deliberately visible and thick: that is a saddlery code, not an ornament. It goes with the strong curve of the model.

The supersoft calf lining follows the wrist with no breaking-in. The tool-free Hirsch Quick Release spring bars let you fit the strap yourself.
