Hand-picked Louisiana alligator

Every skin is graded one by one before tanning. The Louisiana alligator used for the Capitano is water-repellent tanned with a silky brushed surface; its two-tone scales give each strap a pattern that belongs to it alone.

A body that carries the watch

The Capitano is thick and curved: that is what lets it carry a large watch without sagging between the lugs. Hirsch Silkglove lining against the skin.

The raw-cut turned edge

This is the model's signature: a turned edge with a raw-cut appearance, its edges receiving three hand-applied coats of varnish. Add the contrast sport stitching and the hand-sewn stitches.
