The black 20mm Bagnore Tuscan leather watch strap wears an unapologetic vintage look. Natural open-pore calf, vegetable tanning, drum milling. In black, vegetable tanning gives a matt depth that a pigmented leather never produces.

Patina as a starting point

Edges and buckle leave the workshop already patinated. The strap does not begin new: it begins used, and keeps darkening as it is worn.

Tool-free mounting

The Hirsch quick-fastening system lets you fit and remove the strap by hand. On a leather that develops a patina, that matters: you can air it without mistreating it.

Vegetable tanning, drum milling

No fast mineral tanning here: the Bagnore's leather is vegetable tanned and then drum milled. That process is what opens the pores and gives the calf its supple hand.
