The black 18mm Prestige crocodile watch strap is one of the most accomplished models in the Hirsch collection. Genuine crocodile, glossy finish, extra-flat body with no stitching. Glossy black is the most formal version: it accompanies an exceptional watch without ever competing with it.

A stitchless build

The Prestige is made without a single stitch, following the rules of traditional saddlery. Nothing interrupts the surface: that is what makes its body so flat.

The flank, not the back

Hirsch takes the Prestige from the crocodile's flank, where the scale pattern is most regular. The skin is carefully selected before work begins.

Two buckles in the box

One polished steel buckle, one gold-tone: both are supplied. The same strap suits a steel case as well as a gold one.

Agate stone polishing

The Prestige's mirror gloss comes not from a lacquer but from hand smoothing with agate. It is a long operation, and it is what separates a true exotic from an embossed copy.

Oysterglove Supersoft lining

The Hirsch Oysterglove Supersoft lining, supple and robust, offers excellent skin tolerance. It follows the wrist with no breaking-in and protects the exotic skin from perspiration.
