Two trays, and the top one lifts out

That is what sets this piece apart from large flat boxes. Twenty slots within 29 cm of width, because the watches sit on two levels of ten. The upper tray lifts out in one movement, giving access to the lower level without disturbing anything.

The saving is real. A flat twenty-watch box would need close to 40 cm across — compare our square 18-watch box at 39 × 39 cm. Here the footprint is that of a ten-watch box.

Aged brown leather

Genuine leather, dyed and aged, with the irregularities that implies. No two pieces share exactly the same shade: that is the process, not a fault. The material darkens slightly over the years.

The glass lid shows the ten watches on the top tray without opening. The metal clip locks with a key.

Real capacity

5 cm felt cushions. The working limit is 50 mm in diameter, crown included: a diver, a large-cased chronograph or a watch on a rigid metal bracelet all sit without strain.
