Brown lets the buffalo grain show

On a black buffalo the grain is guessed at; on a brown it is read. The lighter tone brings out the natural irregularities of the hide, which become the subject of the strap. At 24 mm, the available area makes that effect particularly legible — it is the width that does this material justice.

Raw buffalo, vegetable-tanned

The buffalo hide is left raw, with no surface correction. Bark-tanned and unpigmented, it patinas with wear and gains depth. Flat, robust 4 mm structure, hypoallergenic cowhide lining.

For watches with strong character

The Safari addresses wide cases and watches that own their presence: large-diameter divers, military watches, square cases. On a dress watch it would take over.
