Square scales, not round ones

Square scales come from one precise part of the hide, where the pattern is most regular and most geometric. It is the cut most sought after in dress watchmaking: the design repeats cleanly from one half to the other instead of running into disorder. At 22 mm that regularity is even more visible.

Honey dresses a sports case

22 mm is the width of divers and pilot watches, rarely of dress watches. Putting a honey crocodile on one changes how the watch reads without disguising it: it leaves the tool register while keeping its size. It is shown on an Omega Speedmaster, by way of illustration.

Semi-rolled edge, tonal stitching

The edge is semi-rolled — the leather folds slightly back on itself — and the stitching is tonal. Nothing competes with the pattern of the hide. Classic 4 mm padding, hypoallergenic calf leather lining.
