Blue in suede does not behave as it does in smooth leather
A smooth blue leather returns light and asserts the colour. The suede absorbs it: the blue turns deep, almost textile, closer to flannel. That is what makes it wearable daily where a glossy blue would stay an occasional piece.
Suede on both faces, hypoallergenic
The lining is identical to the surface. Vegetable tanning, without chrome, makes it hypoallergenic. What touches the skin is what meets the eye.
