Our workshop shots present the blue 20 mm alligator-embossed watch strap on a Rolex GMT-Master II with the blue and black bezel collectors call the Batman. The blue of the leather picks up exactly the blue half of the bezel: it is the most direct match that watch allows.

Blue is rare on an alligator pattern

Alligator embossing comes almost always in brown or black. Blue changes how the pattern reads: the scales no longer try to imitate an exotic hide, they become a deliberate design. That is what makes this colourway interesting.

Hand patina on embossed leather

Each scale is patinated by hand, which hollows the joints and gives relief to what embossing leaves flat. Semi-matt finish, clean side cut, 4 mm tapering padding, hypoallergenic leather lining.
