The 20mm beige alligator strap is made for patinated watches

The beige of this Darkgator is not a new beige: it is already warm, obtained by a two-tone patina over a brown base. It sits on an older watch as though it had always been there, without the abrupt contrast of a pale leather straight from the workshop. Our photographs show it on a Rolex 5513.

A patina applied by hand, in Italy

Every strap is patinated by hand, scale by scale. The shift from brown to beige never falls in the same place from one piece to the next. It is workshop work, not printing, and that is what separates this piece from a production exotic hide.
