Swiss Kubik Masterbox red eloxed aluminium: the benchmark automatic watch winder of the range. Approved by Rolex, programmable over Bluetooth and USB-C, silent motor, antimagnetic at 0.07 mT. Hand-made in Switzerland. Battery-powered, up to 3 years of autonomy. 3-year warranty.
Swiss Kubik is one of the few manufactures officially approved by Rolex — and one that has built bespoke winders for certain models in the range. The Masterbox red aluminium is the most direct proof: hand-made at the Givisiez manufacture in Switzerland, to Swiss Made standards, it is built to preserve your Rolex Daytona, your Submariner, your Patek Philippe Nautilus or any other prestige automatic watch.
The case is a striking red that puts your watch forward. This is eloxed aluminium: the treatment colours the metal throughout and gives it lasting resistance, with no paint to chip over time. A finish that ages well, unlike entry-level painted winders.
In standard settings the Masterbox runs 1,600 rotations per day — 800 in each direction — covering 90% of the automatic calibres on the market. To go further, the smartphone app lets you enter the brand and reference of your watch: the app then adapts the programme with the ideal number of turns. Rotation direction and turns per day can also be set manually, over Bluetooth (iOS/Android) or from a computer via USB-C.
The Masterbox runs on batteries, with no cable: two Duracell LR14 batteries are supplied and give up to 3 years of autonomy. Put it wherever you like — on a cabinet, in a dressing room or inside a safe — with no cable or socket nearby. USB-C mains power remains available if you prefer.
The Swiss Kubik motor is silent. And it does not disturb your watch: Swiss Kubik measures 0.07 mT — 85 times below the ISO 764 standard — a technical argument almost no competitor puts forward. Between each rotation cycle the Masterbox observes a pause phase and stops automatically in the vertical position at 12 o'clock: the mainspring relaxes properly.
The Masterbox is a self-contained individual cube running on batteries. You can have as many as you have watches to maintain: side by side or stacked on top of one another, matching colours within the same setting. In the same technology: Masterbox silver grey, Masterbox navy blue, Masterbox gold. For a further step in refinement, the Masterbox black leather with white stitching swaps eloxing for leather on every face.
On a tighter budget? The Startbox black offers the same Swiss Made motor on a fixed programme, with no settings. Same Swiss Kubik motor but hand-made Italian leather, the Rotor One Scatola del Tempo black leather is a design object shaped like a porthole, with a graduated bezel inspired by the Rolex GMT and Submariner — perfect if your collection lives in your living room. On the British side, the EVO MK3 black Rapport London and its 9 programmes in brilliant piano lacquer.
