Navy, light blue and red on a pale ground. A racing livery that became a code. At 22mm, on a chronograph with character, it tells a story — provided you own the ground.

This NATO watch strap is cut from a single piece of woven nylon, to the British G10 specification. It passes under the case, bears on both spring bars, then loops back to the buckle. Marine-grade anti-corrosion stainless steel buckle and keepers. Machine wash at 30° and air dry.

Seiko SKX009, Seiko Turtle SRP777, Seiko Samurai, Seiko Arnie, Sinn U1. A NATO strap passes under the case: it can be narrower than the lug width, never wider.

A strap that goes in the water

Nylon fears neither the sea, nor the pool, nor sweat. Where leather buckles and rubber ages, a nylon strap dries and carries on. The marine stainless keepers do not pit in salt. This is the strap for July.
