The tricolour, toned down

A bold blue-white-red quickly reads like a flag. Black settles it, the fine stripes tighten the pattern, and the whole thing becomes wearable on an ordinary Tuesday. The colour is still there — it has simply lowered its voice.

One length of nylon, no seam

Nothing is assembled: the nylon band runs from end to end in one go. It slips under the caseback, stops on each of the two spring bars, then loops back on itself. Buckle tongue and keepers are cut from marine stainless steel treated against salt. A 30° machine wash freshens it up.
