The dark brown 22mm Liberty saddle leather watch strap is cut from the back of the hide, natural grain on show, white contrast stitching. In 22mm the saddle leather holds wide cases without hollowing between the lugs.

The detail that lasts

Three passes of hand varnish on edges and keepers, a decorative lock stitch at the buckle: nothing spectacular, but it is what separates a five-year strap from a six-month one.

Natural grain, never twice the same

The saddle leather of the Liberty is not surface-corrected. The grain remains that of the skin: each strap carries a pattern of its own.

A stitch meant to be seen

Hirsch could have stitched tone on tone. The opposite choice — a frank white topstitch — is what identifies the Liberty at first glance.
