The 20mm rally watch strap in gold-brown takes the drawing of driving gloves: function holes running along the strap, meant originally to lighten and ventilate the hand at the wheel. Gold-brown takes the rally out of the racing register and towards dressy vintage. It is the visual code of 1960s motorsport.

Comfort and quick change

Under the buffalo, a waterproof hypoallergenic lining keeps moisture off the skin. Two presses fit or remove the strap: the tool-free Hirsch Quick Release system is built in.

Hand-sewn finishing

Three details an entry-level rally strap does not have: the hand-sewn bar seam at the buckle and the attachment, the hand-sewn safety stitch on the loose keeper, and the perforation edges hand-lacquered in three coats.

The buffalo grain

On buffalo the grain reads with the naked eye, irregular and deep. That natural relief is what separates a buffalo rally strap from a printed calf one.
