The Hirsch Siena 18 mm leather strap is pictured here on a vintage Omega. The rich black of the Tuscan leather, never flat, answers the restraint of an aged dial, and the slim 18 mm lug width matches dress watches of decades past. This shot is an original La Boîte à Montres photograph, taken in our workshop.
Made from genuine Tuscan Italian calf from Pisa, the Siena is finished by an age-old method, with vegetable tanning of the upper leather. Its surface has a characteristic silky sheen that catches the light softly.
The Siena's signature lies in its two-tone effect, created by hand-applying a darker colour to the raised grain of the leather. The tool-free Hirsch Quick Release spring-bar system lets you fit it without a watchmaker.
