Chocolate, and what it becomes

This is the shade that changes most in the range. Grained dark brown leather keeps darkening over the years, shifts where the hand rests, and eventually stops looking quite like anyone else's. Black stays black; chocolate tells you something.

It also sits better with its surroundings. On a walnut desk or an antique dresser, a black box creates a hard contrast. Brown settles in.

What that changes for your watches

Nothing technically — the construction is identical to the other Valigetta 4 models. But a champagne dial, a tan leather strap or a rose gold case reads better against brown than against black.

Construction

Exterior and interior receive the same grained Toledo leather, slot by slot, over a shock-absorbing base. No textile lining. The clasp is chrome steel.

Each slot clears the crown and pushers up to 50 mm: Panerai, Rolex Deep Sea, Bell & Ross or Jaeger-LeCoultre Master all fit without forcing.
