Four watches, no size limit

The Valigetta 4 was not dimensioned around average watches. Each slot clears the crown and pushers up to 50 mm: a Panerai, a Rolex Deep Sea, a square Bell & Ross or a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master all sit without the lid forcing.

That is the real constraint of the four-watch format: most boxes this size are built for 38 to 40 mm pieces. This one is not.

A full Toledo leather lining

Exterior and interior receive the same grained Toledo leather, slot by slot, over a shock-absorbing base. No textile lining, no change of material when the lid opens.

The clasp is polished chrome steel. It is the part you handle most, and its fit is the first thing you notice in the hand.

Handmade in Italy

Scatola del Tempo began with Sandro Colarieti, an Italian collector who could not find a case worthy of his watches. The company has built in its Italian workshops ever since, by hand, piece by piece.

We are an official retailer for the brand: the provenance is documented and the three-year international warranty is the manufacturer's own.

The box on video

Filmed on our own premises, with a vintage Rolex GMT set in one of the slots. The grain of the leather and the fit of the lid read better there than in any photograph.
