Six centimetres of cushion

That is the number to remember. Most boxes stop at 5 or 5.5 cm, fine for a dress watch but tight on a diver with a steel bracelet. Here it is six centimetres, and up to 50 mm in diameter: Panerai, Seiko divers, wide chronographs — all of them fit.

If you have already sent a box back because two watches would not go in, this is the format you want.

Carbon and red

The outer covering mimics a carbon weave, in black. The interior and the stitching are red — a deliberate contrast, closer to motorsport than to a classic case.
