Two compartments, two uses
The 7RT is neither a box nor a winder: it is both, in the same volume.
The upper section holds four watches on leather cushions, under a hinged lid with a clip fastener — the exact construction of the Valigetta 4. The front houses three winders behind a lid that drops downward. Each lid carries padded pressure pads facing the slots, holding the watches in place when closed.
Total capacity: seven watches. Four at rest, three running.
The three Swiss Kubik winders
The drive is Swiss Kubik, Swiss Made, in Masterbox specification. Each module has independent rotation programmes — clockwise, counter-clockwise or alternating, with an adjustable number of turns per day. You match each slot to the calibre in it, which matters as soon as a collection mixes eras and mechanisms.
Power comes from the mains or from LR14 batteries, with roughly three years of battery autonomy. That is what makes the 7RT usable inside a safe, with no permanent power supply.
Programming runs over Bluetooth or USB-C. Swiss Kubik also holds Rolex approval, which is worth knowing when you trust a watch to a motor for years.
A full Toledo leather lining
Exterior and interior receive the same grained black Toledo leather, across both compartments. No textile lining, no change of material when either lid opens.
