The cigar box format

The Cubano does not look like other watch boxes. It is long, narrow and tall: 29 cm long, 9 wide, 9 high. The four watches sit in a single row rather than in a grid.

That has two practical consequences. It fits a shelf depth where a square box will not, and it sits on the edge of a bookcase or the end of a dresser without taking the whole surface. It is also, quite simply, a good-looking object when closed.

Real brown leather, deliberately aged

The covering is genuine leather with an aged finish. It arrives already patinated, with shade variations from one piece to the next — that is intentional, and it is why no two Cubanos are quite alike. Unlike synthetic leather, which degrades, this leather will keep darkening and marking over time, in the right direction.

The closure combines a metal clip and a key lock, still rare on a four-watch box at this price.

Four watches, of any size

The cushions are 5 cm wide. A dress watch, a chronograph or a diver on a rigid steel bracelet all go in without strain, including when the bracelet will not lie flat.
