That is the point of this version. The grey exterior is the quietest shade in the range — more neutral even than black, which remains an assertive colour on light furniture. Then you open it, and the interior is orange.

This two-stage effect is not decoration for its own sake: it is an Italian upholstery choice, the one where a car's lining contradicts its bodywork.

What orange does to a dial

Against black, a dark watch disappears. Against orange it stands clear, and applied indices or gilt hands catch a light they do not find elsewhere. Same principle as the red velvet of a jewelry case, moved into a contemporary register.

The trade-off: a very colourful collection will sit less easily here than a restrained one. If your watches are mostly light or coloured dials, black will serve them better.

Construction and dimensions

The lining is complete, outside and in, slot by slot, over a shock-absorbing base. Each slot clears the crown and pushers up to 50 mm.
