The 22mm matt calf rally strap is built to patina

The matt tanning of this hide is chosen for one reason: it puts no pigment barrier between the leather and either light or contact. The colour therefore moves from the first weeks, faster than a treated smooth leather. This is the model for an older watch that should not wear an obviously new strap.

A rally for a collector's watch

On a nineteen-seventies diver or chronograph, a leather that is too smooth gives the replacement away. Matt calf blends in. The strap accompanies the case rather than trying to rejuvenate it. Our workshop shots present it on an Omega Speedmaster, by way of illustration.

Flat structure and through-perforations

Constant 3.5 mm thickness, no build-up at the lugs. Three rows of through-perforations, contrasting beige stitching, clean side cut, vegetable-tanned leather lining.
